"Refreshingly Perfect" Carling ad campaign

The launch of the new Carling ad campaign featured a couple of new faces for the popular beer brand. We caught up with the the actors playing Dylan & Jon on the set of "Trick Shot", the first ad, to ask them how they got involved, and what it was like carrying on the tradition of the ads from the 80s & 90s. As it turned out Frost & Arden, stars of classics such as Dambusters and Laundrette, were making a guest appearance in the new commercial, so we couldn't resist reminiscing with them about the "good old days". They were only happy to oblige, as well as pass on the mantle to the new duo.

We filmed behind the scenes of the making of the first commercial, and created three pieces of content to be used online and shared on social media at the time of the launch.

Wretch-32 Hi-jacks Hip-Hop Karaoke at V-Festival

Carling is the official beer of V Festival and provides pub entertainment with a twist at the Channel Carling tent. For the second year running we worked closely with Carling’s PR team to cover the day’s events at the Carling tent. This year the main act was Hip Hop Karaoke, but one unsuspecting contestant was taken by surprise when Wretch 32 took to the stage to join him on his hit single "Blackout". We shot the event and edited on-site so that the moment when Wretch-32 took the stage could be shared on social media within hours of it happening, and by the end of the festival it had racked up over 100,000 views on YouTube.

Carling Refresh Rooms at V-Festival

As the official beer of the V Festival, Carling ran entertainment throughout the day at it’s Refresh Rooms. Working with the PR team we covered performances by the main acts on the Saturday - Clock Opera and Reverend and the Makers - editing onsite to have clips ready to be shared on social media the same day.
